Agricultural biogas facility in Courtemelon

It is an impressive pioneering project: the EcoBioVal agricultural biogas plant in Courtemelon (JU). Since mid-January 2024, it has been feeding biomethane into the local gas network – making it the first agricultural biogas plant in French-speaking Switzerland to feed renewable gas into the grid.
