The KliK Foundation is tasked under the Swiss CO₂ act to procure until 2030 around 40 million tons of CO₂ equivalents in international offsets, amounting to the expected residual of Switzerland's commitment to be delivered on top of domestic efforts.

Procurement process for ITMOs

International

KliK maintains a open procurement process, next tender opens in summer. Eight activities receive funding for development, a thirties await clearance.

Peru

While the country prepares the regulation for carbon markets to be released in 2022, KliK is active already today with a dedicated platform.

Ghana

A National Clean Energy Program NCEP is being devised to support an array of measures, complementing Ghana’s Renewable Energy Master Plan.
