We would like to warmly welcome our new employee in Ghana. Michael Kofi Abrokwaa is based in Accra. He strengthens our team and supports the acquisition of climate protection programmes for the purchase of Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes (ITMOs) under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.
KliK Foundation in Ghana
In March, the KliK Foundation’s Board of Directors and management team visited Ghana to assess the status and development of climate protection programmes after the official launch of the Carbon Market Office in Ghana https://cmo.epa.gov.gh and to exchange ideas with our partners from the government and private sector.
The KliK Foundation is constantly expanding its Ghana portfolio. The development of new programmes in the areas of green cooling and electric mobility are progressing. Overall, the KliK Foundation is currently supporting the development of five programmes. We would like to invite interested programme developers to submit their programme ideas. In areas of e-mobility, cement manufacturing, mining, and energy efficiency in particular, we are looking for scalable climate protection programmes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
