Bangkok E-Bus Programme

A first programme under the Thai-Swiss Implementing Agreement, the Bangkok E-Bus Programme, is ready to start. Under that programme, Energy Absolute, the programme owner, will introduce e-buses in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area to reduce around 500’000 tonnes of CO2 until 2030. By purchasing the resulting emission reductions, the Swiss Foundation for Climate Protection and Compensation (KliK Foundation) provides the necessary financial contribution to make the programme financially viable.
