Applications for the funding of activities can be submitted via the KliK Foundation’s Peru Platform, where the funded activities will also be managed. This platform provides information on current developments, and gives a broad overview of the collaboration between Peru and Switzerland, as well as transparently documenting the activities that are being funded.

The platform will be built over several phases. In the initial pilot phase, the website will provide information about the planned functions of the platform and the collaboration between Peru and Switzerland under the Agreement. Two pilot programmes for the promotion of energy-efficient cooking stoves and energy efficiency in companies are already being developed.

After the conclusion of the pilot phase, during which the application processes and the collaboration with the relevant government departments are established, proposals for activities in Peru can be submitted. The submission process is open to all registered organisations. Registration and also the submission of proposals can be carried out on a consecutive basis. In this development phase, programmes will also be drafted that are financed by the KliK Foundation and that in turn promote individual projects in Peru. As well as the programmes, large individual industrial projects will also be funded.

Once it is fully built, a series of programmes will be operated via this platform. Companies and private individuals will be able to apply for funding for climate protection measures directly with the programmes. Thus the full spectrum of Peruvian society will benefit from the cooperation between Peru and Switzerland, which promotes cleaner living conditions and energy, modern production processes and the competitiveness of Peruvian companies.
